Mary McCord, General Manager
February 11, 2013
The Cayuse Technologies Board of Directors has named Mary McCord as the new General Manager effective January 30, 2013.
Mary was one of the founders of Cayuse Technologies in 2006 when the CTUIR and Accenture agreed to work together to start a business. As an Accenture employee, she lived in Pendleton for 18 months assisting with the implementation of the business plan, planning the facility and staffing the first employees. As a result, she has a deep understanding of the business and the goals originally established for diversifying job opportunities on the Umatilla Reservation and she is familiar with the Tribes and the region.
Employed with Accenture for 37 years, Mary performed a variety of roles from HR management to sales and business development. During that time, she established relationships with companies and governmental agencies throughout the country that will serve Cayuse Technologies well, now and in the future.
Mary retired as a senior executive in October, 2012, and started with Cayuse Technologies as the interim General Manager immediately. After taking three months to conduct a national search for a permanent replacement, the Board selected her for the permanent role.
Mary’s vision for the future includes expansion of business and government relationships and services and the continued growth of the company. She is also committed to the communities in which Cayuse Technologies does business through educational partnerships and other community services and activities.
